Verizon iPhone 4 running on CDMA with antenna redesign

As expected, Verizon's big announcement today is a CDMA iPhone 4. Apple's latest gadget has the same characteristics as its GSM sibling (sorry guys, no LTE) and will hit Verizon us network on 10 February.

CDMA iPhone 4 has finally unveiled at the Verizon-presskonferens. IT won't be exclusive to Verizon only, but it is the first CDMA carrier to offer it.

CDMA iPhone 4 has the same characteristics as its GSM version-Retina display, 1 GHz Apple A4 processor, 512 MB RAM, 5-megapixel camera with LED flash and 720 p video recording, 16 GB or 32 GB of internal storage and a variety of connection options. It is not going to LTE support.

The only thing that changes is the antenna for the safe-it has been re-designed to work on CDMA networks and is divided into different parts. Volume buttons are also a little wee offset so that can activate a disappointment with tight cut full-body cases.

IPhone 4 will not be able to make voice and date simultaneously (a CDMA network restriction), but Verizon's CDMA development team promises to fix that in the coming months. Verizon claims its 3 G network is great and iPhone 4 will take full advantage of it.

Since this is not the SIM card slot seen in the last week leaked images of iPhone parts so maybe these are either fake or they really represent the next generation of iPhone (5)

Verizon offers iPhone 4 on contract for $ 199 (16 GB) and $ 299 (32 GB). Agreements involving the use of a new iOS function is called personal Hotspot. It is an enhanced way of tethering other devices to use the phone's 3 G connection. In addition to offering connectivity via USB and Bluetooth, create new personal hotspot as a Wi-Fi access point too.

Verizon iPhone 4 runs what it's worth, even hidden version of Apple's iOS called iOS 4.2.5., Perhaps the option personal Hotspot is a part of it and we can see it on all other iOS devices in the future.

The exclusive pre-orders for existing Verizon customers starts on February 3, while it will be available in each of the Verizon store on 10 February.
