SAMSUNG WAVE 578 GT-S 5780 with NFC

Bada-based smartphone from Samsung, Samsung Wave gets official, 578 (GT-S 5780). The new phone is expected to show off at the Mobile World Congress 2011 (February 14-17, Barcelona, Spain).

The function of the Samsung Wave 578 (S5780) integrated NFC (near field communication) chip, which will be used in certain payment services or contactless services like door lock/unlock, and so on. Unfortunately, NFC support is available in the bada OS 2.0, while the Samsung Wave bada 578 is running version 1.1 or 1.2 OS.

Samsung Wave 578 (GT-S 5780) smartphone is packing 3.2-inch touchscreen TFT display with a resolution of 240 x 400 pixels, a 3.2 megapixel camera, front VGA camera for video calling, FM radio with RDS, 3.5 mm headphone jack, Wi-Fi 802 .11b/g/n, Bluetooth 3.0, 100 MB of internal memory and MicroSD card slot.

New Samsung Wave S5780 's works in the GSM/GPRS/EDGE 850/900/1800/1900 MHz and UMTS/HSDPA 900/2100 MHz.
