Acer has just announced its new Android smartphones at Mobile World Congress 2010 in Barcelona (Spain), also known as Acer Iconia Smart.
The new phone made in candybar form factor with an impressive 4.8-inch touchscreen display with resolution of 1024 x 480 pixel (21: 9 aspect ratio).
The heart of Acer Iconia smart phone has a 1 GHz Qualcomm Snapdragon processor, 512 MB of RAM, and runs Android 2.3 (gingerbread) OS.
Acer Smart Iconia is packs 8 GB flash storage, MicroSD card slot (up to 32 GB), an 8-megapixel rear-facing camera with LED flash, a 2-megapixel camera for front-flip, gyroscope, accelerometer, 802.11 b/g/n WiFi, 14.4 Mbps HSDPA support and Bluetooth 2.1.
It is support 720 p HD video recording at 30 frames per second. There are HDMI interface and support for DLNA technology, as well as Dolby Mobile technology offers a lively and intense sound.
Cost of Acer Iconia Smart is still unknown at the moment but scheduled to ship in the UK on 1st May 2011.
