We already know Froyo-run LG Optimus a best sellers will receive Android gingerbread update, but as long as there was no talk about when it might happen. We know now, thanks to LG India that the update is likely to be the case in May.
LG outset stated Optimus-a will not be upgraded to Android 2.3 since it does not meet the minimum requirements. However, the company changed its mind soon after and has promised us an update of gingerbread. It will come six months later-somewhere at the end of May.
And just when we thought that things become crystal clear LG posted another statement to confuse us. It seems it may not be confirmed, and things may change.
We hope that other message has to do with LG Law Department, who's afraid of the consequences if the company misses a promised release date.
Most importantly here is anyway, LG is working on the update and the gingerbread close to being completed.
