Nokia as one of the biggest announcements this year's tech with Microsoft and its Windows phone 7 software. It seems many of Nokia's developer not get excited for the change. But they will get a free E7 and a custom WP7 (when it becomes available), to play with.

And it's not all-Nokia also promises to cover registration for Summit and Nokia World/developers and provides free (again!) technician support on all Nokia technology for three months. It seems that the Finns are really keen on pleasing its developer base.
Symbian ^ 3 devices are safe to hang for a while at least, so there's really not that big of a deal. Current developers should have enough work even without the implementation of the Windows phone 7.
